Sour Cream Cheesecake

Ingredients:
Crust:
One cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 lb. Butter ( approx. )

FILLING:
One cup sugar
Four 1/2 lb. packages of cream cheese
Four eggs
One teaspoon vanilla

TOPPING:
One pint of sour cream
One teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup of sugar

Crust: Melt butter in a saucepan, turn off the heat, add the graham cracker crumbs, toss with a fork. Pat into the bottom of the pan.

Filling: Combine one package of cream cheese and one egg, mix and then repeat; continue this process until 4 packages of cream cheese and all 4 eggs are blended. Add sugar and vanilla, mix well.

Pour over the crust in the pan. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 .

Topping: Combine and pour on top of the cake after it has baked for 40 minutes. Bake 10 minutes more; then chill well.

Annie: I used to bake this cake in the early 70's for my "boyfriend" on his birthday every May 3rd. I'm making the cake tonight (I never thought I might find the same recipe). Thanks in advance (It's in the oven).
