This is soo simple and really is a great seasoning for steaks or roasts, especially on the grill. I usually make a batch 2 or 3 times a year and store in a 3 lb coffee can. I make it with 2 cups each salt and garlic powder and 1 cup pepper and then keep it stored. But you can do any amount, just keep the ratio the same.

For steaks apply liberally on both sides an hour before cooking.

For roasts, I usually put about a 1/2 cup to 1 cup in a casserole pan and roll the roast around until totally covered…
