A selection of the submitted recipes
Contest Rules
1. There will be three categories and a prize for each category:
- Entrees - meat/meat dishes.
- Side Dishes - casseroles, potatoes, soups, dressings, veggies, salads, hors d'oeuvres etc.
- Desserts
2. Only one recipe per chatter may be submitted. Submit all recipes to Alllie. Please do not mention the recipe you have submitted in the channel.
3. Recipes will be judged based on:
- Taste - 60%
- Creativity -20%
- Appearance - 10% (does it look yummy?)
- Ease - 10% (the easier to make the higher score).
Ingredients must be reasonable and not too expensive. Remember the theme is Holiday Favorites.
4. Judges cannot submit a recipe.
5. Judges will not know the name of the person whose recipe(s) they are cooking. Names to be held by alllie. So...Please do not mention the recipe you have submitted in the channel.
6. Deadline for Entry December 1.
7. Judges will have one week to cook and evaluate the recipes.
8. Winners to be announced on Monday, December 9.
9. There will be a prize for each category. (Click on each prize for a larger picture). The prizes will include
- A George Foreman Grilling Machine
- Rival 1.5 QT.Crock Pot
- A glass candy dish, trimmed in gold, in the shape of a Christmas tree along with a Suzanne Sommers Apron
Cat not included. The winner with the highest score will choose his/her prize. The winner with the second highest score will choose next and the remaining winner will receive the remaining prize. In case of a tie(s) the winner will be determined by a coin toss.
All prizes donated by Patti. Shipping arrangements to be discussed.
