Looking Back: 9/11

It's been almost a year now since the terrorist attacks of September 11th. Time enough for us to look back and consider it anew. I recently bought Springsteen's The Rising largely because it was the first work by a major artist that dealt with some of the events of that day. It's like all media except the newsmedia has been pretending it didn't happen or wasn't significant or is just too hot to touch. It got me to thinking that many of us might have some insights or observations of our own so I'm asking the chatters of #newsgarden to each produce something about 911. It can be fiction or nonfiction, personal or political, poetry or prose, text or graphics. Send it to me (Alllie) and I'll post it on the #newsgarden site for all of us to share.
